Senior Accounts Specialist – Construction Industry

Factor Constructions is on the rise, and we are looking for a Senior or Mid-Level Accounts Professional to join our finance team and help drive financial excellence in a growing company. This is an opportunity to work closely with our CFO and gain hands-on exposure to the financial operations of a construction business that delivers high-end projects across South East Queensland.

Why Join Factor Constructions?

At Factor, we don’t just build—we create spaces that set new benchmarks. Our projects range from luxury townhouses to large-scale childcare centres and boutique mid-rise apartments, blending client-side work with our own developments.

We are Gold Coast-based but operate across the region, with a tight-knit, high-performing team that values ownership, collaboration, and a hands-on approach. If you are looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact, contribute to exciting projects, and grow your career, this is it.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

End-to-end bookkeeping & accounts management – Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Financial forecasting & cash flow management – Oversee job health and cash flow forecasting, contributing to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.

Construction FP&A – Provide strategic financial insights, helping drive better financial decision-making.

Contractual compliance – Ensure a clear understanding of Principal Contractor obligations and construction-specific financial structures.

Systems & process optimisation – Leverage Procore and Xero to maintain financial efficiency across multiple projects.

What We’re Looking For

Industry Experience – Strong background in construction finance, FP&A, and contractual accounting.

Technical Expertise – Proficiency in Procore and Xero is highly preferred.

Attention to Detail – Ability to manage accounts meticulously while keeping an eye on the big picture.

Commercial Acumen – A strategic thinker who can forecast financial performance and provide insights for business growth.

The Opportunity

This is not a back-office finance role—it’s an opportunity to work at the core of a growing construction business, influencing key financial decisions and shaping how we operate. If you’re looking for a role where you can take real ownership, see your work drive business outcomes, and be part of an ambitious, growing company, we’d love to hear from you.
