Known for our progressive approach and dedication to our residents, we're on the hunt for a Technical Officer to join our City Maintenance team.

So, what's the role?

This role will provide operational support to Operations Coordinator to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services related to Council’s assets, specifically Civil assets (roadways, footpaths, kerbing, stormwater, street amenities and traffic control devices) and Recreational assets (road reserves, reserves and landscapes, ovals, playgrounds).

Here's what you’ll dive into:

• Engaging, Managing and supervising Council’s City Maintenance contractors.
• Assisting with scoping, planning and monitoring city maintenance work plans
• Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance work practices
• Provide technical advice, making recommendations and implement strategies and procedures.
• Contributing to the delivery of City Maintenance activities through the engagement and management of all City Maintenance contractors.
• Taking charge of Councils street sweeping contractors ensuring coordination with Councils internal street sweeping service.

Do you have tertiary qualifications in Civil Construction, Horticulture, Arboriculture, or related field?

Have you got solid ‘hands on’ experience in coordinating civil and/or parks and reserves maintenance?
