Our client is a global leader in the mining industry. They are now looking for a Senior Management/Financial Accountant to join their team. Reporting to/being mentored by a dynamic Financial Controller, this is a varied role and your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Cash flow forecasting
• Budgeting
• Reconciliations
• Management reporting
• Prepare, review and analyse operations monthly results
• Month end procedures
• Consolidations
• Business partnering
• Variance analysis
• Commentary on variances
• Reconciliations
• Assist with half year and year end audits
• Assist with the budgeting process
• Systems and process improvement

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified, have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in mining, strong technical skills and intermediate Excel skills. SAP ideal or another large ERP. You will be a team player and be able to work to deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a great team and progress your accounting career.
