The Role
As part of the Resort Presentation team, you will assist the Resort Presentation Manager with the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of both existing and new irrigation systems for tropical gardens. You will also coordinate and manage proactive and reactive irrigation programs to ensure efficient water use while protecting the environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the team to develop, maintain, and program all irrigation systems
- Coordinate the ordering of irrigation components to ensure systems operate effectively and efficiently
- Assist with training and developing the skills of all Resort Presentation staff
- Work independently with limited supervision, while contributing to the team's success
- Maintain tools and equipment according to Workplace Health and Safety procedures
- Implement effective communication channels to keep the team informed
- Undertake the Resort Presentation Manager’s responsibilities in their absence
- Assist with emergency and volunteer work to ensure staff and guest safety and maintain cleanliness on the island as required
You Will Have:
- Certificate 4 in Irrigation Design and/or Installation, or extensive experience in managing large landscape irrigation systems (Essential)
- Significant experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of all types of irrigation systems, especially pressure-compensated drip systems (Essential)
- Open driver’s license (Essential)
- White Card (Essential)

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A friendly, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
