Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Support Officer based in one of our head offices, located in Pyrmont, NSW. The IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, managing desktop computers, and providing printer support on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the deployment of new systems, software upgrades, platform integrations, and infrastructure projects.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and charts.
- Provide high-level technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Onboard new application and new support tasks.
- Perform network administration tasks, and implement security protocols.
- Take ownership of escalated technical tickets and ensure timely resolution while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement proactive solutions to enhance system performance and stability.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions to prevent future incidents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Manage and lead IT projects as required
- Investigate, diagnose, provide/check/confirm workaround, Escalate to Vendor.
- Manage, co-ordinate & perform application checkout and request signoff.
Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Information Technology
- Experience in managing Desktop Computers
- Printer Support knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Relevant IT certifications or qualifications
