We are a small boutique hotel and residence located in the heart of Ryde, offering a personalized experience to both our residents and guests. Our close-knit team thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join us as a Front Desk All Rounder on a part-time basis.
Position Overview:
As a Front Desk All Rounder, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests experience the best in service and hospitality. From assisting with check-ins and check-outs to handling administrative tasks, you will be the face of our accommodation, helping us maintain our excellent reputation. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including guest communication via phone and email, managing guest relationships, and performing daily administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient check-in/check-out of guests
- Answering phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Building and maintaining relationships with loyal guests
- Performing general administrative tasks such as booking reservations and managing guest requests
- Maintaining the front desk area, ensuring it is welcoming and organized
- Barista skills, including making coffee for guests
- Cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Providing excellent customer service in all interactions
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth hotel operations
Key Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to work in a close-knit team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Motivated and energetic with strong attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to work 3-5 rotating shifts (morning, mid, and evening shifts)
- Experience in a front desk or similar role, with accommodation work experience preferred
- Cash handling experience
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and appearance
- Experience with RMS Cloud or similar hotel management systems is an advantage
- Barista skills and experience would be beneficial
