Heritage College (Officer campus) is seeking an enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to support our Science Teachers in delivering high-quality learning outcomes through effective management of the Science laboratories. This is a part-time position with an immediate start.

About the Role: This is a unique opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience while studying. The role is offered as a fixed-term, part-time position for 14 hours per week during school terms, covering an employee on leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Science teachers by maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient laboratory environment.
  • Assist with preparing materials and setting up equipment for practical Science lessons.
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of OHS regulations, including safe chemical storage.
  • Previous experience in a school Science lab setting is highly preferred.
