The Role
Our client is looking to hire a motivated, proactive and experienced Full-time Sales Consultant with a deep passion for furniture, homeware or interior design and high-level of customer service and sales skills, for their showroom in Fyshwick, ACT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers through personalized interactions, understanding their preferences and needs to provide tailored recommendations.
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers.
- Maintain an in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate product value and benefits.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment to enhance the shopping experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service and memorable shopping experience for every client.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in premium retail sales and customer service, preferably in furniture or home decor.
- Strong passion for interior decoration and home furnishings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
