Recognised for exclusive collection of distinctive furniture pieces sourced from around the globe, with beautiful showrooms across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and ACT.

The Role

Our client is looking to hire a motivated, proactive and experienced Full-time Sales Consultant with a deep passion for furniture, homeware or interior design and high-level of customer service and sales skills, for their showroom in Fyshwick, ACT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers through personalized interactions, understanding their preferences and needs to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Drive sales by actively engaging with customers.
  • Maintain an in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate product value and benefits.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and memorable shopping experience for every client.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in premium retail sales and customer service, preferably in furniture or home decor.
  • Strong passion for interior decoration and home furnishings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
