We are seeking full time Rendering Plant Operators at our cattle processing plant in Cootamundra.

Reporting to the Rendering Supervisor, the position will involve operating machinery and equipment to process animal by-products to produce meat meal, fertilisers and tallow. In rendering, no two days are the same. The environment can be hot and as such, we operate under a strict risk management program.

Specifically, some of the key responsibilities include:

• Operating a wet rendering process
• Operating a tallow processing plant
• Operating a blood processing plant
• Operating trade waste plant
• Producing rendered products hygienically
• Rendering edible products
• Following Quality Assurance program for rendering plant

To be successful for this role you will be:

• Mechanically minded
• Self-motivated
• Team oriented with a positive attitude
• Hard working and responsible
• Flexible with shift work (day, afternoon or night)
• Be able to work with minimal supervision

Successful applicants would have previous experience in the rendering or associated industries. A forklift license would be an advantage.
