Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic VCE Health and Physical Education Teacher to join the supportive secondary team at Heritage College. This is a Fixed-term full-time position. This position is open to graduates and commences immediately and concludes at the end of the 2025 school year.
The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:
- Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
- Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
- Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
- Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
- Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
- Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements of the role:
- Bachelor of Education
- VIT Registered Teacher
The salary range is $83-124k based on years of experience.
