Description

As a Welder/Fabricator/Boilermaker Team Lead, you will:

• Lead and Supervise: Manage and mentor a team of welders, fabricators, and boilermakers, ensuring the completion of high-quality work on time.
• Hands-On Work: Actively participate in welding, fabrication, and boilermaking tasks alongside your team.
• Ensure Safety: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Progress Monitoring: Liaise with upper management to report on project progress, timelines, and opportunities for improvement.
• Improve Processes: Suggest and implement improvements to optimize workflow and production quality.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience: Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or boilermaking is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with proven experience managing teams in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Hands-On Approach: Willingness and capability to perform welding and fabrication tasks yourself.
• Safety Awareness: A commitment to maintaining and improving health and safety practices.
• Forklift License
• Tig, Mig, Aluminium experience.
• CNC Machinery experience

Job Offer

• Pay: $45 per hour
• Hours: Flexible start times between 6am and 9am
• Workweek: Monday to Friday, with early finish at 12pm on Fridays
