We are seeking qualified and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to assist our client with a 5 week shutdown. You will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installation, and testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements. This role is suited for professionals with a high level of technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced turnaround environments.

Key Requirements

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Valid Queensland Electrical License (required for performing electrical work)
• Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
• Instrumentation Certification
• CPR/LVR (Low Voltage Rescue) Certification (current)
• Working at Heights (WAH) Certification (current, renewed every 2-3 years)
• High-Risk Work License (EWP)

Experience:

• Proven experience in shutdown or turnaround environments, particularly in the oil and gas industry
• Familiarity with hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2)
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control processes, including electrical systems
