About the role

EMRG Imaging is seeking a talented Sonographer to join our dedicated team in Wallan, VIC. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Sonographer to contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services in a growing regional healthcare setting.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
• Accurately capturing and interpreting ultrasound images to support medical diagnosis and treatment
• Providing exceptional patient-centred care, including guiding patients through examination procedures and addressing any concerns
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with the broader medical team to ensure seamless patient care
• Participating in quality assurance activities to continuously improve service delivery

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or an equivalent health sciences degree
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Sonographer
• Strong technical skills in performing a diverse range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, diagnostic-grade images
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide a positive patient experience
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
