Stage Technician
Part-time and/or Casual Position Available

Global Staging Pty Ltd is a family-owned business with over 25 years experience specialising in the construction of staging, trussing and scaffolding for various projects and events.

Global Staging Pty Ltd are based in Regency Park and deliver to the inner city and wider metropolitan areas of Adelaide as well as to some country areas. Recently we have delivered staging and scaffolding to events and projects such as the Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, AFL Gather Round, Tour Down Under, ADL 500, Tasting Australia and Illuminate Adelaide.

With a continued increase in demand for services provided, Global Staging Pty Ltd are looking to expand our team are now offering the following positions:

• Part-time Stage Technicians
• Casual Stage Technicians

Days and hours of work are negotiable and will be offered to the successful applicants. This may include weekends.

Ideally, the successful applicants should be self-driven and highly motivated and be able to demonstrate a high level of physical fitness.

This position requires applicants to have:

What we are looking for:

• Ability to work in an environment which requires manual labour to construct and deliver staging, trussing and scaffolding equipment (ongoing training provided).
• Ability to carry out general maintenance on all equipment as required.
• Comfortable with working in extreme conditions (such as - outdoors, working at height and working at night).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High standard of personal presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.

Licences:

• Current Forklift licence (with operational experience – not mandatory).
• Current White Card (construction) (currently held or willing to obtain).
• Current Unrestricted Driver’s Licence (ability to drive a manual would be an advantage).
• Scaffolding Licence (highly desirable, but not mandatory).
• Light Rigid/Medium Rigid Truck Licence (desirable, but not mandatory).
• Working With Children Check (current or willing to obtain – site requirement for school clients).
