We are seeking a professional and customer service focused Claims Consultant/Administrator to provide a superior level of assistance to their team and stakeholders.
Based in Sydney CBD with life insurance, this is a great place to work where everyone is treated fairly and with respect. You will be provided with exceptional support through training and ongoing development.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Receiving claim notifications and service enquiries
- Documenting all claims in accordance with internal policies
- Managing a portfolio of assigned claims
- Applying claims policies and procedures
- Providing a high level of customer services to all stakeholders
- Processing claims submissions, including accurate data entry
- Performing quality checks
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:
- 1-2+ years' experience in an insurance (life or general insurance) and/or financial services environment as a Claims Consultant
- Experience working within an Insurer and/or Broking operation
- Ability to build and develop business relationships with client/s
- Excellent problem-solving skills including an ability to resolve conflicting information
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word/ Excel)
- Strong level of interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality and accuracy
