We are looking for a fulltime Water/Wastewater service technician to join our small friendly team, head office located at Hillcrest.

For over 20 years Bioworx Wastewater Treatment has been helping home and business owners across Queensland and NSW install and maintain their sewage and waste water systems. Bioworx staff are highly trained and work to council, state and Federal Government quality standards to maintain a healthy and hygienic home and work environment. Our Brisbane wastewater treatment specialists service, maintain, repair, Treatment Plants ( HSTPS) for residential and commercial properties across south- east and rural Queensland, and northern NSW.

The Role:

Working independently you will be servicing and maintaining treatment plants, troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to all different types of systems. You will be supplied with a vehicle, uniforms along with great working conditions, and be willing to provide on call coverage, respond to call – outs and do additional overtime if required and rostered weekends.

Skills & Experience required :

*Current Manual Drivers Licence, and ability to work independently

*Previous experience in wastewater is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided

* Pumps and basic mechanical knowledge preferred

*Enthusiasm to learn from all team members

*Excellent communication skills, Reliability, honesty and Flexibility

* Work in a Safe and efficient manner in accordance with our safety policy and procedures and ability to follow procedures

* Will hold themselves to high professional standards and be a self starter

* Basic computer skills

* Current LVR & CPR Certificate ( or can obtain quickly)

*Police Check and full licence history

* Be comfortable in presence of all animals
