This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial chartered accountant to stake a lead role in their Sydney practice within a national group who is backed by significant overseas capital and is a member of Australia's largest consulting networks, with unparalleled networks and synergies to leverage off

Due to continued growth, the firm are looking to recruit a Manager/ Senior Manager to lead their Sydney practice, supported by the Partner and alongside a small team. You will be key to managing a $1m book of business and form part of it's strategic future with the ability to step up over time

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Review tax returns (complex and non-complex), financial statements, and other tax-related documents for individuals, trusts, partnerships, businesses, and companies.
• Provide advice on tax planning strategies, tax compliance, and risk management to clients across various industries.
• Manage the team’s workflow supervising staff
• Be a key contact to clients and respond to client requests appropriately and in a timely manner
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting and training junior staff as required
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm, such as wealth management, business advisory, personal risk insurance, and lending, to deliver comprehensive financial services to clients

What you will need:

• Experience within public practise accounting with a focus on Australian Taxation
• CPA/ CA qualifications
• Sound communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to demonstrate initiative in your approach to work and be proactive
