Focus on physio is looking to recruit a vibrant Full time physiotherapist, who is Pilates trained and has a special interest in rehabilitation. We are situated centrally on the Gold Coast in Benowa – adjacent to a busy Private Hospital and medical precinct.

Our patient caseload and requires experience in the management of spinal pain, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, neurological conditions, hydrotherapy rehabilitation, chronic illness, Disability NDIS rehabilitation, remedial Pilates, home visits and women's health.

Qualities we look for in our Physiotherapists:

Bachelor/Masters in Physiotherapy

Minimum of 2-3 years private practice experience

Experience in manual therapy, spinal and sports injuries, hydrotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation, Pilates, and chronic illness, Disability rehabilitation and class work is essential.

A detailed knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, motor control, rehabilitation, exercise prescription, preventative health care and wellness

History of CPD

The applicant must be an Australian resident with National APHRA Registration and Indemnity Insurance of $20M

Is skilled in clinical reasoning

Excellent communication skills - friendly, professional and open to feedback

Excellent teamwork skills

High level time management skills

Excellent communication skills with a positive outlook on life

A high level of professionalism is required in all aspects of clinical practice including professional correspondence and record-keeping.

Uses an evidence based approach to assessment and treatment

Has a current Police Check, current Blue card, NDIS workers screening certificates

Current CPR certificate
