The Role

We’re seeking a Full-Time Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations with a focus on delivering premium service and seamless event execution. This role requires creativity, adaptability, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude to inspire the team and meet the demands of a dynamic dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the FOH team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Train staff to adapt to various dining styles and event formats, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Encourage a positive and professional attitude within the team, ensuring a supportive work environment.

Operational Management:

  • Manage scheduling, rostering, and timesheets with proficiency in computer systems.
  • Oversee inventory, stock control, and ensure all operational documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination and service flow.

Event Hosting:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of diverse events, from private dining to corporate functions and creative celebrations.
  • Coordinate with the event team and clients to ensure all requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each event, ensuring seamless service and memorable experiences.

Guest Experience:

  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and track performance metrics to achieve operational goals.
  • Provide personalized and attentive service, managing guest inquiries and special requests.
  • Ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression and a memorable experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years in restaurant management, with proven success in hosting events and private dining.
  • Bar and wine knowledge is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in computer systems for rostering, reporting, and operational documentation.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • A good attitude with a willingness to adapt, foster teamwork, and deliver creative solutions.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service and developing team potential.
