About the role
Redeemed Care Inc is seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers, Social Workers, ICT Business Analysts and Aged & Disabled Carers to join their team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in your local community.
Key Responsibilities for Support worker and Social Worker and Aged & Disabled Carers:
- Provide personalized care and support in the homes of people with disability.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment for clients, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team.
Key Responsibilities for ICT Business Analyst
- Support Worker: Minimum of Certificate 4 in community services or equivalent
- Evaluate current services, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Conduct detailed needs analyses with stakeholders, including service delivery teams, to understand gaps and challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison between the business, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on goals and outcomes.
- Document business cases, functional requirements, and solution designs for technology projects.
- Research and recommend technology solutions, that align with organisational goals.
- Ensure all systems and processes comply with regulatory and privacy standards.
Qualifications and Skills for Support worker, Aged & Disabled Carers and Social Worker:
1. Support Worker
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Community Services, or a related field
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (if working under the NDIS)
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Police Clearance
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for clients
- Ability to provide personal care (hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance)
- Medication management (if trained)
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
2. Aged & Disabled Carers
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Support, or Community Services
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Manual Handling training
- Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (if required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (for disability support workers)
Skills:
- Personal care support (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Assistance with mobility and use of mobility aids
- Meal preparation and feeding support
- Medication prompting (if applicable)
- Understanding of aged care and disability regulations
- Patience and ability to handle challenging behaviours
- Strong observational and reporting skills
3. Social Worker
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work
- Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (for disability-related roles)
Skills:
- Strong case management and advocacy skills
- Counselling and mental health support
- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of social services, welfare policies, and community resources
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including vulnerable groups
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills
Qualifications and Skills for ICT Business Analyst
- A degree in Business Administration, ICT or a related field.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Computer literate and well versed with the Microsoft Office suite of application.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software applications.
For all Positions
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in NDIS service, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Empathy and a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of people with disabilities.
