Protech are currently looking for a Carpentry Apprentice to be hosted with our Construction Client, currently working on a major project located in Ripley.

Our Client specialises in the construction of concrete structures including:

• Multi-storey Carparks
• Multi-storey Apartments
• Residential Buildings
• Bridges
• Drainage Structures
• Retaining Walls

Apprentices in their 2nd or 3rd year, who have worked with formwork previously are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Start in Early January
• Max Term contract with full time hours and overtime available
• Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm
• Travel allowance of $21.94 paid daily

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in formwork, steel fixing and concreting
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and nailing materials
• Using hand and power tools
• Maintaining tools and equipment
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Continuously improving your carpentry skills and knowledge.

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Construction white card
• Drivers licence & reliable transport
• Min 2-3 years’ experience as a Carpentry Apprentice
• Formwork experience highly regarded
