The Opportunity

We’ve recently expanded, and we’re on the lookout for three incredible professionals to join our team:

  1. Exercise Physiologist (Full-time)
  2. Speech Therapist (Part-time or contract available)
  3. Remedial Massage Therapist (Part-time or contract available)

Exercise Physiologist Role (Full-time)

Your day-to-day:

  • Conduct individual assessments and tailor exercise programs for clients living with Parkinson's.
  • Lead engaging, safe, and purposeful neuroactive exercise classes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and other allied health professionals.
  • Provide support, guidance, and education to clients, partners, and carers about the benefits of exercise in managing Parkinson's symptoms.
  • Contribute to ongoing research, training development, and community initiatives.

What you’ll need:

No prior experience with Parkinson’s is necessary—we’ll provide all the specialised training you need. What matters most is your enthusiasm for helping people achieve meaningful improvements in their everyday lives.

You will need:

  • Degree in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA (membership must be up to date).
  • Strong interest in neuroplasticity and Parkinson’s care.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach to client care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and embrace new techniques.
  • Passion for improving the lives of people with Parkinson's.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance (mandatory).

Speech Therapist Role (Part-time or contract)

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to specialise in working with clients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Our clients are here for the long haul, so this is an opportunity to build lasting relationships and truly make a difference.

Your day-to-day:

  • Assess clients’ speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities, addressing the unique challenges of Parkinson’s using evidence based process / programs. (eg: LSVT LOUD®)
  • Develop personalised treatment plans based on evidence-based techniques.
  • Provide therapy to improve communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate closely with our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists for holistic care.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to maximise communication and swallowing function in everyday life.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology.
  • Full SPA registration (membership must be up to date).
  • National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance (mandatory).

Remedial Massage Therapist Role (Part-time or contract)

Your day-to-day:

  • Provide personalised remedial massage therapy to clients.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure well-rounded care.
  • Educate clients on self-care strategies.
  • Maintain compliant client records.

What you’ll need:

  • Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.
  • Insurance (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity) and membership with a relevant professional association (membership must be up to date).
  • First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Experience with neurological conditions (like Parkinson’s) is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
