The Opportunity: Co-Director

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Location: Bellmere
• Hours: 38 hours with flexibility
• Compensation: Well above award + attractive share of profit

We are looking for a Co-Director to join our Bellmere service alongside our current Director. The successful applicant will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire the current team of early childhood staff along with creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with families and the surrounding community. You will coordinate all day to day Centre operations such as admin, health & safety and staff development. You will ensure strong management for the day to day operations of the centre through regular evaluation of systems and processes, as well as management of staff rosters, staff ratios and adequate supervision. You will ensure centre and staff compliance with relevant legislative documents and build and maintain a strong relationship with children, families, staff and other internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
• Current Qld Blue Card.
• Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.
• Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
• Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Current First Aid, CPR & Asthmas and Anaphylaxis certificate
• Previous experience as an Assistant Director essential
• Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care
