Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, for a Physiotherapist with an interest in paediatrics at Play-Based Paediatrics. We are a non-corporate, small business passionate about delivering quality personalised care to children living with liabilities.

Are you passionate about changing the lives of children living with disabilities in a non-clinical, play-based setting?

Being a small business we are keen to support, invest in and develop your future in paediatric physiotherapy.

The successful candidate would be responsible for providing high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to paediatric patients on the NDIS.

You will be supported to extend your professional skills and knowledge by a masters qualified physiotherapist as well as continuing education opportunities.

Our service is mobile, working in patient's homes, schools, daycares and kindies in the greater Brisbane area.

Duties include:

• conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and working closely with families to achieve therapy goals.
• We are mobile over the SE Queensland region.
• We aim to provide a quality physiotherapy service to improve the lives of children living with a wide range of disabilities in a non-clinical, play-based setting whilst still maintaining the same diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes seen in rooms. Many of these children see multiple therapists and specialists and may spend large amounts of time in hospitals or clinical settings. Qualifications

• Physiotherapy degree registrable in Queensland.
• Queensland Drivers licence

Required Personal Attributes

• Ability to interact and work with children at their own level.
• ENERGY
• A desire to keep learning.

Desirable attributes

• Experience in working with children with disability
