NoosaCare is located across two incredible facilities – Carramar in Tewantin and Kabara in Cooroy. We are a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that puts our residents and their families at the forefront of all we do. Our state-of-the-art facilities are located in stunning natural surroundings and landscaped gardens, creating a community where residents live with dignity and choice and experience the highest level of care they deserve.

We are currently looking for Registered Nurses at our Cooroy, QLD and Tewantin, QLD locations. Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts are available.

• Pay that’s above award rates: depending on your experience, make between $38.67 - $44.78 per hour + super.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide education, direction, supervision and leadership to care staff.
• Deliver high quality clinical care to residents with varying needs, including those residing in our Dementia Specific area.
• Complete timely resident care plans and progress notes on our internal systems.
• Contribute to positive patient outcomes by leading the assessment, planning and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with the resident, their family and the wider clinical team.
• Actively promote a culture of learning.

About You

NoosaCare is looking for candidates that have an interest in aged care and making a difference in people's lives. Experience is a bonus, but we're eager to train and support new graduates to establish their careers in Aged Care as well. Essential requirements are:

• Availability for night shifts that run from 10:45pm to 6:45am.
• A valid nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Current criminal record check or the ability to obtain prior to starting.
