The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and motivated ICT Support Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our technology systems. You will provide expert technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues and assist in maintaining a secure and reliable technology environment.
A vital part of this role is user education and training - you will be responsible for developing and delivering ICT training sessions while providing hands-on coaching to enhance users’ technical skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities include;
- Provide technical support to staff and users, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, and networking.
- Manage and maintain ICT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative ICT solutions and integrate feedback to improve support systems.
- Liaise with telecommunications providers to establish new service plans and manage user account changes.
- Manage procurement of hardware, maintain an inventory, and keep records of hardware purchases and maintenance.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and network devices.
- Develop and maintain ICT support documentation.
- Provide remote and on-site ICT support for Windows and Apple devices.
- Develop and deliver ICT training, and collaborate with the Chief Information Officer on in-house programs and training needs.

Experience and Qualifications
- A customer-centric approach to providing support and assistance.
- Strong experience in ICT support and systems administration in both Windows and Mac environments.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience in hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A customer-centric approach to providing support and assistance.
- Familiarity with modern ICT tools, remote support tools, and system monitoring software.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions for small groups.
