Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Java Developer to join our clients growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications that support both internal systems and client-facing solutions. You’ll be involved in every phase of the software development lifecycle, contributing to project planning, coding, testing, and deployment, all while maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, scalable Java applications in line with industry best practices.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and other developers, to deliver on client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues and defects in a timely manner.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Continuously improve applications through performance optimization and refactoring.
• Ensure all security requirements and baseline security protocols are met in development.
• Contribute to regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong background in developing scalable enterprise-level applications.
• Expertise in Java SE and Java EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JPA, etc.).
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one (if not already held).
• Familiarity with agile development practices and version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
