Our team is constantly growing, and we are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Machinists - Lineborers to join the team on a permanent basis in the Singleton area.

About the role

With solid growth and exceptional opportunities within the Hunter region, we are highly motivated to find the right person in terms of experience, skill and passion for excellence to join our team as a Machinist - Lineborer on a permanent, full-time capacity based in the Singleton area.

You will be responsible for:

• Reclaiming bores on earth moving equipment
• Producing work to specific manufacturing standards, sizes and finishes
• Working as an integral part of the line boring team
• Attending to jobs both on customer premises and in the workshop

In this position, you will be required to work shift work covering both day/night rotations.

Essential requirements of the role

• Trades Certificate – Mechanical Trade
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and fabrication solutions
• Work history in a similar environment
• Exceptional safety standards
• Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands
• Ability to maintain high work standards with minimal supervision
• Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Respect for their team
• Local accommodation or be willing to relocate (within 1hr radius)
