The company supplies wholesale to hardware stores, paint shops, industrial outlets and government departments. C & A Australia is a family owned company, established since 1985.

The Position

Our company requires a motivated sales representative for an autonomous external sales role, to be an account manager for hardware stores, paint shops and industrial outlets in Victoria. This is a Melbourne based role for a NSW company and the successful applicant will be working as the sole employee in Victoria, reporting to head office in NSW.

Duties and Responsibilities

Independently manage the sales for Victoria, with supervision from NSW head office

Maintain a regular face-to-face call cycle for existing accounts. Working from home is not an option with this position.

Source new business and increase sales to existing customers

Achieve territory sales budgets and organise territories on a regular basis

Provide excellent customer service and effective communication

The area will include the Melbourne metropolitan area, Albury, Gippsland and South Australia.

Provide correct and on-time presentation of reports

Skills and Experience

B2B selling experience

Ability to use your own initiative to source new accounts

Exceptional time management skills and flexibility

Tidy and well presented appearance

Able to communicate on all levels with a wide variety of customers, including buyers and management of major companies

Well organised self-starter with a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
