About the Centre
Aspire Early Education Werribee, Riverwalk is a well-established centre in Werribee, right off the Princes Highway, close to the southern Werribee exit on the Princes Freeway.
Aspire Riverwalk, Werribee provides high-quality education and care for children aged 6-weeks to 6-years old. The team of qualified early educators deliver a vibrant educational program for each age group, tailoring their content to the interests and needs of the children.

About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Must hold Provisional or Full registration with VIT)
- Prior experience in an Educational Leader or Management role with the ability to inspire, coach and mentor other educators and teachers to implement a high-quality program.
- The ability to lead & motivate a large team
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families & employees
- Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
- A current Working with Children check or VIT registration, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
The Head of Curriculum is responsible for role modelling, coaching, and mentoring the centre leadership team to strive for and achieve best practice in developing and delivering high quality educational program. In partnership with the Centre Manager, you will be delivering on key KPIs, driving the Aspire philosophy, vision and values and ensuring that the Centre is exceeding national quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Service Leadership & Management - Working in partnership with the Centre Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the service
- Mentor & Coach the team to provide a high-quality curriculum and best practice - Assist the leadership team in the development, design, and implementation of educational programs
- Lead and develop high performing teams - Foster a positive organisational culture within the Centre & drive the distributed leadership model
- Networking, training and development - Identify needs for professional development and supports learning opportunities and organise networking and training opportunities for the team based on identified areas for improvement, further training and development.
- Relationships with Stakeholders, departments, and organisations - Oversee and collaborate with the Leadership team at your Centre.
- Support the Centre with the operational requirements with regards to planning and delivering a funded Kindergarten program
