We're seeking an individual who shares our passion to join us as our next permanent part-time Health & Wellbeing Officer.

The Health & Wellbeing Officer role has a focus on delivering a variety of health and wellbeing initiatives across four key themes: social, physical, mental and financial health. At MRC we are passionate to ensure these initiatives support employees and fit into other aspects of working at MRC including diversity, inclusion, organisational culture and leadership.
The role is a great opportunity for someone with a background in delivering employee programs who want to broaden their knowledge and experience across a greater range of challenges and initiatives. We are also able to be flexible with working days to best suit your situation.
To be successful in this role, you:
- Have a true passion forthe health and well-being of others,
- Have a qualification in health promotion or a related field,
- Are able to commit to a regular working pattern totalling 21.75 hours a week (approx. 3 days a week),
- Supportive of others, and able to build strong working relationships,
- Are confident that with guidance you could design and implement health promotion initiatives for council employees, and
- Can handle the pressures of office work, such as competing deadlines, and keeping on top of your paperwork.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- QLD "C" Class Driver's Licence
- Qualification in health promotion or a related field.
- Experience in designing and delivering promotion initiatives.
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing promotion principles.
