Lives Lived Well supports people to live their lives well. We provide support for people in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, transitioning from corrective services, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling.
About the Service
Elouera is a residential service for women who need support in rehabilitation from alcohol and other drugs and is situated on a peaceful property in Orange. Elouera offers child-family support options which enables clients to have their children (under 10) remain with them during the program. The service can accommodate up to 10 women and 6 children at a time.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a full time Treatment Facilitator to join our team. The Treatment Facilitator role works to engage and support our clients in their ongoing case management, counselling, group facilitation, and treatment of AOD dependency and other associated factors within a residential setting. You’ll walk beside them and celebrate with them when they achieve their goals, helping them to develop their capacity and confidence.
Treatment is delivered over a period of 6-12 weeks where our multidisciplinary team provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for recovery.
The salary for this position is $97,377 – 101,787 plus superannuation. We offer salary packaging to increase your take-home pay plus a huge range of discounted products via Perkbox.
Your Opportunity
Having experience in the AOD sector- either in community or residential rehabilitation - you will have an open and friendly demeanour with the ability to build relationships across a broad range of people.
Other skills and experience you bring will include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or a related health field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical practices and working effectively within these frameworks
- Capacity to provide risk supervision and management including complex and dual diagnosis behaviour management
- Able to set and maintain good boundaries, with clients, colleagues, and yourself
- Capacity and confidence in developing and delivering group education sessions
- A calm approach and mature demeanour – along with patience and resilience, and the ability to relate effectively to a range of people, often in times of high-stress and emotion
- Self-awareness and emotional maturity – you won’t be afraid to ask for support when you need it
- Valid Drivers Licence and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
Additional AOD qualifications and/or AOD residential experience will be highly regarded.
