About the Role

This is a site-based role on the Southern Gold Coast, working on the basement construction of high-rise developments between $2 million and $20 million in value and other civil construction projects. You will oversee demolition, piling, shotcrete, soil anchors, excavation, concrete works and earthworks while working alongside experienced professionals.

Your daily duties will include:

• Quality assurance and compliance
• Work programming and coordination
• Procurement of materials and subcontractors
• Supporting the Site Supervisor in project administration
• Cost tracking and reporting
• Ensuring safety and environmental compliance on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing site activities
• Work closely with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager
• Quality assurance and compliance
• Work programming and coordination
• Procurement of materials and subcontractors
• Ensuring safety and environmental compliance on-site delivery
• Track costs and maintain accurate reporting for project budgets
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain QA documentation
• Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the team
• Continuously look for ways to save time and cost without compromising safety and quality outcomes

• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Keen attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and best practices
• Eager to learn, grow, and take on challenges
• Civil construction experience desired but not essential
• The right to work in Australia

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or relevant other experience.
• We welcome graduates that are at the start of their career
• Driver’s license and own vehicle (essential)
• Experience in civil construction (preferred but not required)
