About The Opportunity
City of Darwin is seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Service Desk Officer. The role is responsible for providing system administration, network and application support to ensure the high availability and maximum effectiveness of the City of Darwin's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, services and business systems.
Reporting to the Manager Information and Communication Technology, you will be expected to perform and deliver consistently across a range of Key Result Areas. A key component of this role is the Service Delivery provided to our community, which includes but is not limited to: -
- Provide support to City of Darwin's ICT Helpdesk and services including the timely and accurate management and escalation of queries, issues and requests.
- Delivery high customer services support across the City of Darwin through phone and face to face to support staff from diverse cultures in a Microsoft environment and other applications.
- Provide support to the management of Microsoft products including Windows 10, Office 365 and other software.
- Provide support for network including use of computers, mobile devices, telephony, networking, audio visual equipment across various locations.
- Develop and update documentation of systems, user manuals, guides, process workflows.
- Manage small projects and assist with the planning, implementation and documentation of major projects, innovation and change.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and support to all internal stakeholders including education in the use of new systems, technologies, innovations, processes and services.
To be considered for the role you will need to have:
- Certificate IV In Information Technology or related qualification.
- Minimum (1) year experience in a similar role
- Able to obtain a National Police Check
- Current Northern Territory Class C Drivers Licence
