Recruitment Consultant - Labour Hire Trades

We're experiencing exciting growth and are looking for a driven and passionate Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. About the Role:

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to managing client relationships. This includes:

• Business Development: Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the trades sector.
• Client Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.1
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilizing various channels (e.g., online job boards, social media, networking) to attract and identify qualified tradespeople.
• Interviewing & Screening: Conducting interviews and skills assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
• Placement & Onboarding: Matching candidates with appropriate roles and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Compliance: Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Administration: Managing candidate data, updating records, and preparing reports.

About You:

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the trades or construction industry (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of the trades industry and the skills required for various roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
• A proactive and results-oriented2 approach, with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in3 using recruitment software and MS Office Suite.
