This is a hands-on role that reports to our Service Manager. The candidate will be working alongside our experienced, existing Storman to ensure safe and timely handling of all inbound and outbound freight. The role is central to ensuring smooth operations or our dewatering systems assembly process.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Observing and adherence safe work practices in the handling of all on site parts & products
• Assisting in checking and processing of stock via our online system into the warehouse.
• Shelving spare parts, verifying quantities, and recording the quality of spare parts.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
• Maintaining cleanliness and basic maintenance of the warehouse and yard, while keeping accurate records of all processes and procedures related to spare parts, tools
• Picking and packing of stock to be dispatched, ensuring that all deliveries are safely packed, labelled and recorded correctly
• Effectively communicating with clients and freight companies and the timely communication of relevant information with the service manager

About You

The successful candidate must be an independent worker and at the same time a reliable team player. You will have good problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and work well under pressure.

Recent vocational training graduates or high school grads are welcome to apply.

• Some experience working in a warehouse environment
• A current forklift and full driver's license
• Strong data entry skills
• Physically fit with a good safety record and a good working knowledge of safety
• Good organisational skills and effective communication skills
