Position Overview:

We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Senior/Lead Aquaculture Technician to join our team at our Juvenile Production facilities in Griffith, NSW. This role plays a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our expansive aquaculture farm, providing significant career advancement prospects within our rapidly expanding enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management and oversee daily operations within the aquaculture farm.
• Coordinate breeding, feeding, and health management of Murray Cod.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Perform maintenance and construction tasks as required.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience in intensive aquaculture (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills and professionalism.
• Ability to follow instructions and retain task-specific knowledge.
• Effective team collaboration skills with capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in tools usage and onsite maintenance support.
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during hatchery season.
• Valid driver's license; Forklift license and ChemCert accreditation highly regarded.
• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Aquaculture preferred.
