About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Allied Health Practitioner (Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist) to complete discipline-specific screening and assessment tools while delivering short-term therapeutic interventions to children and families.
- Full time position.
- Government funded until 26 September 2026.
- Level 6 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $106,390 to $111,093 plus super.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Work collaboratively, providing discipline specific consultations and recommendations about practice interventions.
- Maintain a client case load as negotiated with your supervisor, using a trauma-informed lens.
- Identify client needs and deliver short-term therapeutic interventions, that complement the broader IFS intervention.
- Complete discipline-specific screening and/or assessment tools, to meet case plan goals.

About You
- Tertiary degree in Psychology, Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the relevant Registration Board, where applicable.
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with children, young people and their families or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
- Understanding of the impacts of trauma on child and family functioning.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
