Red Arrow is seeking an Electrical Construction Supervisor for our Tier 1 Client in a new project decarbonization project FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster.

Reporting directly to the Electrical Superintendent. This role involves ensuring contractors are supported in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to high standards that meet the expectations and requirements of the end user. The team consists of highly experienced construction professionals with in-depth knowledge of current construction practices on mine sites, working collaboratively to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple contractors and projects on site, ensuring smooth operations.
• Review and approve Contractor Inspection and Test sheets.
• Conduct Punch list walkdowns to identify and address outstanding issues.
• Oversee isolation requirements to maintain safety standards.
• Review and interpret project drawings to ensure compliance with plans.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Site Teams, Contractors, and Stakeholders on key matters.
• Work closely with Commissioning teams to facilitate handovers and manage SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations).
• Lead Field Leadership sessions to promote safety and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with BMS (Business Management System) requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment Policies and ensure team compliance.
• Participate in company training and safety initiatives.
• Adhere to safety directives and work instructions, reporting any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Properly use all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Contribute to workforce development by supporting personal and professional growth through structured development plans, coaching, and mentoring.
• Encourage a collaborative work environment where diverse ideas thrive, driving achievement beyond business goals.
• Lead by example, ensuring safe and compliant practices, and holding others accountable for their actions.
• Quickly identify and address workplace incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• W.A A Grade Electrical License or tertiary qualifications as a minimum
• Relevant project or construction supervision experience
• High Voltage Switching Certificate
• Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Controls
• Experience with Fiber and Communications Networks
• Familiarity with completions management systems
• Over 10 years of electrical experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within mining
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence
• Experience with High Voltage distribution networks (both overhead and underground)
• In-depth knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and codes of practice related to HS&E, construction, inspection, testing, and commissioning
