About the Role:
As Asset Manager of this new development, the role will be responsible for transitioning the building from construction to operation, including establishing robust operational protocols, setting up service contracts and managing key relationships with investors and tenants. The role will include the challenging responsibility of forecasting and managing budgets and the continued enhancement of the asset value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a detailed Asset Management strategy with 1-, 3-, 5- and 10-year milestones.
- Manage handover from the builder and ensure close management of the DLP.
- Oversee the commissioning and operational set up of the building.
- Finalise the procurement of outsourced service contracts and appoint property manager.
- Establish and document all relevant operational protocols and procedures.
- Prepare a present periodic asset reports, including financial and ESG to key stakeholders.
- Prepare business cases for asset improvement initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, investors and partner stakeholders.
- Coordinate space planning and leasing activities, including negotiating and renewing commercial leases in alignment with the Asset strategy.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in asset management and property management, with strong knowledge or facilities management
- Strong understanding of building operations, lease management, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing premium commercial assets and complex management contracts
- Exposure to complex infrastructure projects, in particular construction handover.
- Exceptional skills in engaging and influencing stakeholder groups, including direct and indirect management of staff.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Business, or a related discipline.
