World of Cake/ Kware is a wholesale cake decorating and baking supplies company that distributes products to retail stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. We aim to provide superior quality products and the best tasting ingredients, which we source from around the world and manufacture ourselves.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our small, friendly warehouse team as a Picker Packer/ Storeperson in our Forrestdale warehouse.

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the picking and packing of customer orders for final distribution as well as assisting with the everyday workflow of the warehouse.

About you

To be successful in the role:

• Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but not essential
• A valid Forklift (LF) license (not essential)
• Work effectively and autonomously within a team
• Exceptional work ethic, reliability and punctuality
• Have a high attention to detail and be good with numbers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Picking, checking and packaging of orders using the inventory scanning system
• Receiving stock
• Replenishment and rotation of stock
• Light manual lifting up to 15kg
• Ensuring correct labelling is applied and checked
• Assisting with loading trucks for delivery
• Upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse
