This Full-Time role is designed for a recent accounting graduate or final-year student eager to gain practical experience while working closely with experienced professionals.

About the Role

As a Graduate Accountant, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of tasks, including:

• Preparing tax returns, GST Returns, BAS, FBT, and financial statements for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSFs.
• Reconciling and adjusting clients financial records and financial accounts in MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks.
• Liaising with the ATO, ASIC, Revenue NSW, and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
• Assisting the senior accounting team with client queries and high-level tax planning and structuring for multi-entity groups
• Supporting the team in preparing ATO audit responses, due diligence reports, and tax research.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A Bachelor of Accounting degree (or be in your final year of study) from an Australian university.
• A strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and the ability to review your own work.
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to accounting software like Xero, MYOB AccountRight, and MYOB AE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A genuine interest in pursuing CPA qualifications and building a career in accounting.

Prior accounting experience is advantageous but not essential.
