About the role

Austar is seeking a full-time Forklift Driver / Warehouse Hand to join our team in Epping, Victoria. This hands-on role is an integral part of our efficient warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods.

Hours are 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move and store goods and materials in the warehouse
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and safety in the warehouse
• Assist with stock takes and stock rotation
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Follow all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Forklift license (LF) and prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as unsupervised
• Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and a willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
