Protech Rockhampton are seeking QUALIFIED ELECTRONIC TECHNICIANS for an IMMEDIATE start based in the North Rockhampton area. You will work at the same host employer every day where you will be working with a diverse team to maintain and repair a range of electronic components for underground mining machinery and equipment. However to clarify you will NOT be required to work in an underground setting.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Repair, testing and production of electronic sub-assemblies.
• An appropriate standard of workmanship consistent with qualification, training and recognised skills and competencies.
• Ensure goods and services produced are compliant to the Client Quality assurance program.
• Adhere to all client safety policies and procedures and promote these in all interactions with team members, customers and suppliers
• Organisation of the repair of electronic components/ subassemblies and carry out repairs.
• Fault finding on electronic components.
• Testing and diagnosing of electronic sub-assemblies.
• Testing of sub-assemblies from vendors.
• Providing final approval certification to NES 215A (Class B)

MUST HAVE ALL OF THE BELOW

• Provide your Certificate such as a Certificate III or IV in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or higher or another related field to work as an Electronic Engineering Technician.
• Must have C Class Driver’s Licence and you must be able to drive client company vehicles.
• Must be residing locally in Rockhampton and/or surrounding areas.
