About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our dynamic head office team for a Maternity Leave Cover position. This role is integral to supporting our Patient Coordinators and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the Patient Coordination team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and compliance with company guidelines. If you excel in communication, relationship-building, and team collaboration, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full-time maternity leave cover (Monday to Friday position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Patient Coordinators, addressing questions and ensuring their work meets quality standards and operational guidelines
• Delegating tasks to Patient Coordinators
• Foster a cooperative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and efficient workflows
• Manage staff resources, time, and attendance
• Oversee recruitment, induction, and onboarding of new staff members
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff career development
• Ensure Patient Coordinators meet and exceed their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Lead regular team meetings to communicate updates, processes, and procedures
• Liaise effectively with Senior Management to address team needs and strategic goals
• Manage dental software systems
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent customer service and managing customer inquiries and complaints
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by management to support the broader team

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience in a Team Leader or Senior position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Adaptability and a solution-focused approach
• A friendly and approachable personality
• Quick learner with a positive attitude
• Prior experience in a dental environment is highly advantageous
• Previous reception experience is essential
• A current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or a willingness to obtain these clearances
