We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to lead our team at Docs John Hunter Hospital Pharmacy for a maternity leave cover, starting April 2025 and finishing February 2026. About the Role:

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting your team. Your responsibilities will include:

Dispensing medications accurately and safely to support patient health
Providing expert advice on medication use, side effects, and interactions
Collaborating with doctors and healthcare teams for seamless, patient-centered care
Keeping detailed records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ensuring full compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Contributing to innovation by continuously improving pharmacy operations and patient care

What You Bring to the Team:

AHPRA-registered pharmacist with a passion for healthcare
Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience in community or hospital pharmacy (preferred)
