A small and busy policy and advocacy consultancy is seeking a policy writer/researcher/industry analyst to join the team.
Victorian based, with national focus, we have a large established client base in the construction and related sectors. They include leading industry associations (employer and employee), specialist industry training providers, government policy and regulation.
We specialise in the construction industry, energy transition, water, gas, plumbing, and fire protection. Our key products delivered include co-ordinated responses to government inquiries and reviews, funding and grant applications, advocacy.
We are looking to grow our capability and recruit an associate with excellent written and verbal communication skills, research experience and capability, IT and presentation skills. The right person will be able to work independently, be an enthusiastic researcher, commit to finishing to meet deadlines.
An understanding of the broad issues involved in climate changes, the clean energy transition, and the important role high quality industry training plays in achieving these government and community goals, would be very beneficial.
The role is a work from home. The successful candidate will require a fully functioning home office and be an ABN holder.
The remuneration will be $75- $100 per hour, depending on skills and experience, and will be paid monthly. Hours will be variable but expected to average between 20- 25 per week.
