About the role

Ravenshaw Ag' is seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our hardworking team in Goolgowi, NSW. As a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our mixed cropping and livestock farm. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our family-owned business.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of various crops
• Caring for and monitoring the health and well-being of our livestock
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
• Performing general farm maintenance tasks, such as fencing, cleaning, and repairs
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant OH&S procedures, and environmental regulations
• Collaborating with the farm management team to implement best practices and improve efficiency

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural environment
• Strong practical skills and the ability to operate a range of farm machinery and equipment
• A keen interest in animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent livestock care
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary certifications
• Australian Citizen or permanent resident only
