Operating as a leading nationwide commercial aquatic consultant, Aquatic One provides a full array of engineering, design and documentation services to the commercial aquatic industry. We specialise in providing reliable, efficient and sustainable solutions for all forms of swimming pool aquatic systems, from filtration system designs through to the aquatic structures and applied finishes. We adopt modern design and documentation practices in our approaches including BIM integration, allowing us to be involved in numerous high-profile and large-scale projects such as aquatic centres, theme parks, public spaces, resorts and high-rise developments.
We have a unique opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. This role will be based in our Brisbane office, and is a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate would have or be close to finishing a Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering.
As a Graduate Engineer at Aquatic One, you would be responsible for:
- Commercial pool filtration and pumped circulation systems
- Water chemistry measurement and treatment systems
- Recirculation pipework and fitting configurations
- Plant room layouts and spatial arrangements
- Water treatment systems electrical and control specifications
- High level concept designs and preliminary design coordination works
- Assisting on aquatic design projects under the guidance of our Design and Senior engineers.
- Work as one of Aquatic One’s Engineers in producing the design and consultancy elements of the business for aquatic system designs, including:
- Working in collaboration with Aquatic One’s drafting team to produce and control supporting documentation that details the design including design records, technical drawing sets, schematics and P&IDs, CAD 3D models, specifications and schedules.
- Completing all tasks in accordance with Aquatic One’s safety, environmental and quality policies, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following:-
- A recognised tertiary qualification (or close to completion of) in Structural engineering.
- Strong computing skills in the Microsoft Suite and other applicable design software as required for the role.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
