About us

Goat Track Theatre has been around since 2009 and has won multiple awards for community development and recently won the Team & Culture Award for best Team and Culture in all of Australia for activities for children and young people. Goat Track Theatre is a theatre company for children and young people and we have a comprehensive program that encourages young people to be their best selves. We run daily drama, acting and film classes and have a comprehensive school holiday workshop program. As well as our drama program we also run creativity camps and are frequently called upon to perform at festivals and other community events. We work with close to a 1000 young people every week in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane region.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor of Arts and/or Education (or equivalent) is preferred but not required
• Excellent group facilitator who can hold space and manage a room
• Excellent communicator
• Knowledge of drama forms and styles of theatre
• Early career support offered for those requiring it

Tasks & responsibilities

• Running afternoon drama classes
• Facilitating holiday workshops
• Communicating with parents and families
